10,000 Filipino products now available on onestore.ph
Over 10,000 quality
Filipino products are now available on onestore.ph. Products range from food,
furniture, handicrafts, jewelry to metals. oneSTore, an e-commerce website
operated by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), has reached 10k on
December 27, 2016.
“We are happy to have made
10k products available for purchase before the year (2016) ends.” said Engr.
Sancho A. Mabborang, oneSTore Project Leader. oneSTore launched in July 2015
with only 200 local products made and manufactured by DOST-assisted Micro,
Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
Since then, Ms. Jacqueline Rivera, together with Mr. Jerson Macarubbo
and all oneSTore Regional Coordinators worked hard to making these products
available to a larger customer base.
According to Ms. Rivera, a
huge portion of the 10k are products of Region VII (Central Visayas). These
include high-quality handicrafts, furniture and jewelry made from indigenous
materials. The enrollment of these products is made possible by the Region VII
oneSTore Coordinator, Mr. Tony Lucmayon.
Said products from
different parts of the Philippines are available on onestore.ph, with logistics
and payment solutions for a complete e-commerce experience.
